MODEL WRITING 

MONEY

Young people in my country get money working on holidays. For example they work in bars and restaurants in summer and they work in supermarkets on Christmas holidays. Others prefer to help their parents with their business. 

If they are too young for working they ask their parents for money, and they give them some money weekly or monthly.

I love shopping. I like to spend my money on clothes, food, comics and video games. Every time I see a new video game I want it, but I usually buy it on sales, because things are cheaper and I can buy more things.

In my opinion saving money is important, because then when you want something you have  money to spend. I usually save all the money that my grandma gives me when I go to her home.

Hola a todos! Ayer empezamos la nueva unidad, la 8,de inglés. Hemos visto qué es el past continuous que está en la página 100 y hemos hecho el ejercicio 1 de grammar del activity book y todos los de vocabulario de la siguiente página. Hasta mañana!

Today we have reviewed when we have to use present continuous. Remember! We use present continuous to say things we are doing in this moment. For example: I'm writing in the blog.

On-line class Tuesday the 12th of January

 Hi everyone! 

If you couldn't come to our on-line class yesterday I remind you what we saw. 

We reviewed the sports vocabulary from last year and we learnt when we have to use : play, go or do depending on the sport you practise.

Here are the rules:

- If you practise a sport that has a ball you usually use the verb PLAY.

- If you practise a sport that ends in -ing, you usually use the verb GO.

- If you practise  a sport indoors, for example in a gym, you usually use the verb DO.

Como sabéis debido a la nieve no podemos ir al cole. Os dejo unas fichas para que vayamos entrando en materia de la nueva unidad de inglés que vamos a empezar.

Tenéis que hacer también de la página 17 del activity book (el de blanco y negro) los ejercicios 1, 2 y 3 de vocabulario. Los corregiremos el miércoles en clase.
